Installation at Craft Victoria, Flinders Lane, Melbourne, 2006

Yoke Creative in collaboration with Eliza Downes and Phoebe Whitman

 

The installation occupied the craft victoria window space gallery over the duration of the Christmas season. 

The work responded to the evolving discipline of craft and explored the materiality of paper.

A series of cut out paper screens were suspended within the window gallery.

The cutouts gave accessed views to the shop within, a series of frames within frames.

Installed lighting operated above to cast shadows between each layer playing with the light to activate levels of  shadow and translucency.
